We missed out on arts funding for this six-month period, and we need financial help to keep going.
Archer Magazine is a print and digital publication curating lesser-heard voices on topics around sex, gender and identity.
Since launching back in 2013, we’ve printed 13 magazines, published more than 500 artists, and won countless awards. The magazine is currently stocked in seven countries worldwide and our website has had more than 1.1 million views.
We provide a safe and welcoming space for diverse and marginalised people to share their stories. We create human, realistic and compassionate storytelling. And we believe seeing your identity reflected in glossy, high-quality media is crucial to a sense of self-confidence, which is crucial to mental and emotional wellbeing.
Our publications contribute to social inclusion and progress, and impact positively on the mental and emotional wellbeing of individuals in this country and beyond.
Without funding, this magazine will disappear. We need your help.

Archer Magazine needs you, and a lot of people need Archer Magazine.
Each issue of Archer Magazine costs about $55,000 to produce. The publication is volunteer-run, but we pay our contributors.
This includes:
- printing
- contributors fees
- shipping and postage
- distribution and stockist fees
- honorariums for editorial and design team
- studio rent and software expenses
- legal fees, insurance and accounting.
We run on a 60/40 revenue split between self-generated income and arts funding.
