LGBTIQA+ lived experiences of cancer video series: EOIs open
By: Archer Magazine

We are running a research study with Deakin University to create a video series that features and interviews LGBTIQA+ people with lived and living experience of cancer, or of caring for someone with cancer. We are in the early stages of pre-production and would love to chat with community members who want to help shape this project or share their story on camera. Community led. Nothing shared without your say.
There are two ways to take part, and all participants will be paid. Your information will not be shared with anyone outside of this project without your explicit consent.
Community Consultation
Paid | Time commitment approx 60 minutes | Not on camera
- Co-design the project and its areas of focus
- Shape the direction, priorities and questions
- Guides the series from the ground up with your insights
- Share your experience of cancer, or of caring for someone with cancer
- An on-camera interview in a space that feels right
- You review and approve everything before it is published
If you are applying as a carer, you need written consent from the person you have cared for to be involved in this project.
You can be based anywhere in Australia for community consultation. Interviewees will preferably be based in Victoria.
