Men who have sex with men: We want your story!
By: Archer Magazine
Gay and bisexual men who have sex with men… WE WANT YOU!
Archer Magazine has partnered with the Victorian AIDS Council (VAC) to help out with one of their flagship campaigns, Staying Negative: a website that profiles the real life stories of gay and bisexual men who have sex with men (MSM) including trans men.
The guys on this website talk about all aspects of their life, such as coming out, body image, mental health, sex and everything in between to help inspire and empower others in their own daily lives.
Keen to share your story?
The storytelling process involves a one-hour interview with a representative from VAC, who will then transcribe and edit the words you’ve shared.
YOU have full control over the final piece — you have the opportunity to remove or amend your words even after the piece has been published. Your story will also appear online on Archer Magazine, along with your first name and photo (optional).
There are no real criteria for participants other than that you identify as MSM, and you’re happy to have your story appear as part of this campaign.
In addition to the personal stories, the website provides information on sexual health, relationships and a range of other relevant topics including domestic violence, alcohol and other drugs, and depression. Check it out here.
